Seriously, it is. I've had some annoying experiences and I'm going to put them here.
Walmart can be annoying to apply for. They're a big organization (which already isn't a plus) and half the time they don't look at your application. It seemed like I had to spam call the store just to get the hiring manager once.
Just got hired here. The interview was pretty quick and painless. Likely because we're understaffed but hey, I'm happy to help. I just hope I can manage to keep that attitude while working in fast food.
I had an opportunity to get hired at a small business-oriented computer & networking company. It would have been an amazing job to have, and my interviews went well. They just decided that they would "forgo hiring additional staff" after both interviews. Made me sad, but I have that job at Wendy's now 🤷.
